Description:
We celebrate Afro hair at every stage of life; starting with a focus on postpartum hair care, and maintaining healthy hair during this crucial period. For parents and kids, you’ll learn to create sustainable routines, and prioritise the nurturing of hair textures in children. Continuing through the life cycle, we also address menopausal and greying hair, supporting the transition with expert hair and scalp care to support healthy hair throughout your years. We'll tackle the widespread myths that surround Afro hair and debunk common misconceptions, replacing them with evidence-based practices.

Hair Type
Level
We hated all the numbers and letters in the ‘curl type’ system. So we scrapped it.
Hair Type: Our intuitive texture guide is based on the words you already use today to describe your hair - kinky, coily, curly and stretched.
Level: Within each of these texture groups, we’ve defined a gradient from loose to tight. For example, Curly 1 = a loose curl texture, Curly 3 = a tight curl texture, Curly 2 = somewhere in between. You’ll see these textures as symbols across our website to help as a reference as you shop.
